In 1992 Andrew McGill and Richard Moore established Fine-Align Engineering Services with the primary objective of offering marine and industrial customers the best problem solving services using emerging equipment and material technologies applicable in the field of rotating and reciprocating machinery.

As the work came in, and the business expanded, Fine-Align Limited took over all on-site activities in 1994. The main offices and workshop are now situated in Collingham, England - where the company provides its worldwide customers with the very best alignment related problem solving services available.

In 2008 Fine-Align became the sole UK distributor for Epocast products and have continuted to provide this foundation installation service across the marine and industrial industries for the last 18 years.

By 2017 and with Andrew and Richard approaching retirement, Tom McGill came into the business and has been running Fine-Align Engineering Ltd since 2018 providing Laser Alignment, 3D measurement and Epoxy Resin Chocking services around the globe, ever since.

Our Story

On Site

Large structural components forming part of critical drive trains such as those found in marine propulsion require accurate positioning. We can achieve these requirements by aligning bearing carriers and machinery on screw jacks, then resin chocking them permanently into place.

Our Approach

Once on site, our engineers are in a highly fluid process. After viewing the job and capturing required information and/or data, we would expect to discuss initial findings, agree on the basic approach and desired outcome. Due to the nature of the work were involved with, we are often using our initiative to innovate and design the way forward as a task unfolds.

New Customers

With over 30 years experience, new customers can be confident they are dealing with a competent organisation, with the experience and expertise to deliver a successful outcome in the sectors we specialise in.

We will never compromise on our founding principals of delivering our clients requirements in full.

Anti-Slavery Policy

Fine-Align Engineering Limited has a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and is committed to preventing acts of slavery and human trafficking from occurring within its organisation and other business partners.
